Assassin’s Creed Shadows is making its first venture into collaborations very soon.
Late last month, Ubisoft released itsdevelopment roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and one thing it teased for late May alongside the game’s second major update is its first special collaboration.
Now we know that crossover will be with Dead by Daylight.
Ubisoft announced it in a brief, cryptic social mediapost, but didn’t tell us much about what the crossover will entail, just that it’s coming on May 27.
Just The First?
The roadmap teases multiple special collaborations as future free content releases, and Dead by Daylight is just the first.
Collaborations in Assassin’s Creed games tend to include special missions and cosmetic items, so it’s safe to assume that this will be the same, especially based on the wording in the announcement.
The Assassin’s Creed series has seen a wide variety of crossovers throughout the years, both in the games themselves and beyond, including multiple withthe Final Fantasy series,one with Destiny 2, anda recent Magic: The Gathering set, to name a few.
The late May update will also include some significant changes to the game’s parkour system, after the recent updatealready made some alterations, and tweaks to the game’s photo mode.
