How To Find & Recruit Allies
Allies can be found throughout the game, and they can be extremely helpful, especially if you find yourself in a difficult fight or being overrun by enemies. These are the best times to deploy them.
All allies will start off at the Novice Rank and will slowly gain the ability to upgrade them based on where you are with your hideout and how far along you are in the main story.
Once you reach the point of unlocking and building the Dojo within your hideout (one of the best buildings you’re able to build), you will be able to upgrade these allies to the Initiate and Veteran levels, which will unlock even more of their special attacks.

Now, with the power of allies by your side, there won’t be any quests or enemies you can’t fight. Remember that you can upgrade your allies in the Dojo by investing Mon, but to reach Veteran rank, your Dojo needs to be at level 3.
