A brand newApex Legendsupdate is set to be deployed today (September 14) and will include plenty of balance changes, as well as the brand new Evolution Collection Event.
It’s worth noting that some players may have already received this update, but this is simply a pre-load for the patch which won’t actually go live until 10AM PT / 6PM BST.

Apex Legends: Evolution Collection Event
A Collection Event is one of the three different types of events that take place inApex Legends.
On September 14th, the ‘Evolution’ Collection Event will begin, featuring a new Town Takeover by Rampart.
Rampart’s Town Takeover will take place near Lava City in World’s Edge and will feature the Legend’s very own shop known as Big Maude. This new POI is a rather large one, which even features a paintball course in front of the shop.
Inside of Big Maude, players will be able to use collected materials to purchase Rampart’s Custom Modded Paintball Weapons from the brand new Vend-it Machines.
The event will also feature a new Heirloom for Rampart known as the ‘Problem Solver’. Fans can also expect plenty of new limited-time cosmetics to be availble during the event.
