Angelis the spin-off series from the classic supernatural teen dramaBuffy the Vampire Slayer. LikeBuffy, it was created by Joss Whedon but was much darker in tone than its parent show.

It ran for five seasons from 1999 until 2004, reintroducing some iconic characters from Buffy and introducing some brilliant new ones created byWhedon. That meant Angel’s allies – known as Angel Investigations and, more colloquially, the Fang Gang – changed and evolved as it progressed.
The first season’s members of Angel’s operation arguably remain the most iconic. They are David Boreanaz’s Angel, Charisma Carpenter’s Cordelia Chase, Glenn Quinn’s Allen Francis Doyle, andAlexis Denisof’sWesley Wyndam-Pryce.

The four originalAngelstars’ lives and careers have taken drastically different paths since they appeared in the show, and this piece will rank them by theirnet worths.
In Memoriam: Glenn Quinn
Glenn Quinn played the half-demon character Allen Francis Doyle – known better as simply “Doyle” – in the first nine episodes ofAngel. Doyle befriends Angel in the show’s first episode and helps him fight evil by telling him what he sees in his prophetic visions from the noble Powers That Be. A founding member of Angel Investigations, he sacrifices his life to save a group of benevolent half-demons from a murderous device called the Beacon, passing his prophetic powers to Cordelia Chase as he does so.
Quinn had previously appeared regularly onRoseanneand in shows likeCovington CrossandFair City. His movie credits include 1991’sShout, 1992’sDr. Giggles, 1995’sLive Nude Girls, and 1997’sCampfire Tales. He tragically died from an accidental drug overdose in 2002 and, therefore, doesn’t have an existing net worth and isn’t eligible for this list. However, his net worth was estimated to be around$9 millionwhen he passed away.

Charisma Carpenter – $4 Million
Charisma Carpenter reprised her role as Cordelia Chase fromBuffy the Vampire SlayerinAngel, evolving as a character from being a spoilt student to a heroic member of Angel Investigations. When Angel first encountered her in Los Angeles, she was a failing actress, so he recruited her to do his admin. She becomes a formidable fighter and plays a huge part in assisting in the battle against evil, ultimately dying in season five.
Before playing Cordelia, Carpenter had appeared in shows likeBaywatch,Boy Meets World, andMalibu Shores, as well as three movies in the direct-to-videoJosh Kirby… Time Warrior!series. Since leaving the Buffyverse, her television credits include recurring roles inCharmed,Veronica Mars,Greek, andThe Lying Game, and one-off appearances in series likeCSI: Crime Scene Investigation,Supernatural,Sons of Anarchy, andLucifer. Subsequent movie credits include 2010’sThe Expendables, 2012’sThe Expendables 2, and2015’s Bound. Her net worth is believed to be around$4 million.

Alexis Denisof – $10 Million
Wesley Wyndam-Price wasn’t a founding member of Angel Investigations, per se, as he joined after Doyle’s death. However, with Alexis Denisof’s character being part of the team since the first season, he’s almost been there since the beginning. Denisof reprised his role as Wyndam-Pryce fromBuffy the Vampire Slayer, where he was presented as a bumbling Watcher. He appeared in Angel as a “rogue demon hunter” and was a joke figure, but he became a badass member of Angel’s team.
Denisof was a long-established actor before playing Wesley and had appeared in shows likeSoldier Soldier,Crime Traveller, andHighlander: The Series, as well as movies like 1995’sInnocent LiesandFirst Knightand 1996’sTrue Blue. His subsequent television credits includeRandall & Hopkirk (Deceased),Batman Beyond,Justice League Unlimited,How I Met Your Mother,Dollhouse,Grimm,Robot Chicken, andHow I Met Your Father. Subsequent film credits include 2011’sLove, Wedding, Marriage, 2012’sThe AvengersandMuch Ado About Nothing, and 2014’sGuardians of the Galaxy. He’s estimated to have amassed a net worth of around$10 million.

David Boreanaz – $30 Million
It will surprise nobody that the original Angel Investigations member with the highest net worth is Angel himself, David Boreanaz. Boreanaz first appeared as Angel in the opening episode ofBuffy the Vampire Slayerand regularly appeared in the show before getting his eponymous spin-off. Angel is a vampire cursed with a soul, hoping to eradicate centuries of wrongdoings by doing good deeds and fighting against the forces of evil he once represented. By the timeAngelended, he had saved the world multiple times.
Before playing Angel, his acting experience was limited, with his only television credit coming in an episode ofMarried… with Children. His only movie credits were small roles in minor films like 1993’sAspen ExtremeandBest of the Best II. Since playing Angel, his television credits have included central roles inBonesandSEAL Team andlesser parts inAmerican Dad!,Family Guy,Full Circle, andSleepy Hollow. He appeared in the 2001 horror movieValentinewhile still on the show and has since appeared in the likes of 2005’sThe Crow: Wicked Prayer, 2006’sMr. Fix It, and 2008’sJustice League: The New Frontier. He’s said to have an impressive net worth of approximately$30 million.
