Staggering your enemy will give you the chance to create a distance between the two of you. This will give you the opportunity to reload or search the area for ammo. Staggering the enemy will also allow you to get a few more hits on them, so hopefully, you can down them before the staggering wears off.
The Hammer Charm staggers in at number 9 because while it is useful, it only increases your chances of staggering your enemies. This means that there is a chance it won’t work. When it does work, however, it could be very beneficial to you.

This charm will be particularly useful during tough boss fights. The less health you have, the more damage you will deal to the enemy. No doubt this will be a safety net to the fight, but if you’re allowed 3 charms, it may just save you from having to start the fight all over.

You may be familiar with the effects of using a flare, which will cause damage to enemies and essentially frighten them off in a way. While it won’t compare to thebest weapons in the game, it’ll certainly help. The flares are only active for a short amount of time, but with this charm, they will last even longer. This should help you survive through the night and provide a little more peace of mind.

Without the charm, you will find these items occasionally, but the charm will enhance them as well as their frequency.
Running out of ammo during a fight is easy and can become pretty annoying, especially if you’ve almost killed the enemy. Luckily, with this charm, you won’t have to worry so much. This charm received the well-earned ranking of number 5 on the list, as you can never have too much ammo or health.
4Lantern Charm
Increased Flashlight Power
When this charm is equipped, you will have an increased amount of flashlight charge which will allow you to stagger your opponents more often. When your opponent is staggered, this is the perfect time to get a few shots in before they regain their balance. This will hopefully help you defeat your enemy quicker.

2Valhalla Nursing Home Charm
Increased Healing
With this charm, you will come across trauma pads and painkillers more frequently. If you may sneak away from the enemy you’re fighting, you’ll have a chance to go into your inventory to regenerate some of your health. Running out of supplies is a major concern when mid-combat in this game.
Diving in at spot number 2, the Valhalla Nursing Home Charm is perfect for those tough fights as it will provide you with more of a guarantee that you won’t die since you will have more healing items available to you. As the game progresses, so does the difficulty of some of the enemies, which makes this charm the obvious choice.
1Logan’s Charm
Maximum Health
Since this charm is automatically given to Saga at the beginning of the game, it should already be in your inventory. By increasing your health, you increase your chances of succeeding in a fight against an enemy and surviving any blows you may encounter from said enemy.
Coming in at number 1 for obvious reasons, this charm paired with any of the above will provide you with a bit of protection against the deadly forces you’re up against. Due to the number of enemies you are bound to encounter, having the most health you can get is very important. Not to mention, it will decrease the chances of you having to start a fight over, which in turn will lower your frustration level and make the whole experience that much more enjoyable.
