It has been a few days since one of the most impactful major orders hit the world ofHelldivers 2,which led the community to implode the planet Meridia in an attempt to wipe out a Terminid supercolony that was risking liberty and controlled democracy.

Helldivers 2’s black hole could be alluring to something else entirely.

After completing the major order, players are now able to witness a black hole that has engulfed the entire planet of Meridia and has left players in awe. However, there is one treasonous Helldiver who believes that said black hole might have a few ramifications that we don’t know of yet.

The Planet of Meridia in Helldivers 2 Was a Significant Loss, But It Seems to Have Opened the Door to More Possibilities

Even though it has only been a few days since the planet of Meridia was lost, it has already shown signs of making changes that could ultimately change the course of the game in so many different ways, or at least one gamer believes this to be true.

According to one Reddit user, there is a belief that the black hole inHelldivers 2that swallowed up Meridia could actually be expanding at a rather alarming rate. So far, there has been no comment by the ministry of truth regarding this growing fear, but there is a possibility that this could be true.

There are many reasons as to why this black hole could be expanding, whether that be down to its constant gravitational pull that is drawing in space debris or due to an outside force on the other side. Unfortunately, until there is some form of announcement regarding it, we can only assume.

One of the main theories that players have regarding this black hole is the fact that there is a chance that this could lead to theIlluminate finally making their entranceinto the game, and with the black hole expanding, there is even more of a chance that this could be a reality.

Helldivers 2 players are worried they made a huge mistake.

Helldivers 2 Could Be Pushing for Other Story Content in the Background

At the time of writing, we are still unsure as to where the story will progress withinHelldivers 2,as there is very little context provided at this time. However, there has been a small piece of information that has been revealed, alluring us to more Terminid-related content soon.

“The Meridia Black Hole destroyed more than just the planet”: Helldivers 2 Fan Has Proof Super Earth Destroyed More Than Just the Supercolony

Upon loading up the game, players will be met by a message from Super Earth that instructs us to pursue a new major order to liberate 4 planets infested by the Terminids in an attempt to push them further back into the galaxy’s edge, but that’s not all.

Within this message, there is also an information drop regarding a new Terminid Control System (TCS), which will be used to emit a deadly gas that will “permanently” drive the Terminids back. What makes this so interesting is the fact that the first version of this system was deployed and eventually failed, leading to the evolution of the Terminids.
