In the last few years, Tite Kubo’sBleachhas made an epic comeback with theThousand-Year Blood Wararc, which has enhanced theBleachfranchise in a major way. While the story and the manga creator were responsible for the epic success of the series, a majority of the credit also goes to Studio Pierrot, the animation studio that produced theBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Wararc.

Studio Pierrot is known for producing some of the greatest anime series in history. FromNarutotoBlack Clover,Studio Pierrot has done it all. But for the past few years, the studio has been lacking in multiple aspects. This is why they came up with a sub-division called Pierrot Films that changed the shape of the company and put more focus on its projects.
Recently, Studio Pierrot’s producer, Yoshihiro Tominaga, made a statement about the return of Studio Pierrot through Pierrot Films and also dropped some hints aboutBleachgetting a potential revival. While this is a piece of great news for the anime community, one particular fanbase is not happy about it at all. This fanbase belongs toNaruto’ssequel spin-off series,Boruto.

Bleachmight be in line for a revival
A recent documentary about Studio Pierrot was released by NHK, which covered many different aspects of the studio’s works on projects like Naruto,Boruto, andBleach. The documentary also featured a special segment where producer Tominaga talked about how theBleachanime series was responsible forStudio Pierrot launching Pierrot Films.

He explained that now, with Pierrot Films, they have the budget and time to release quality content, and it is all because ofBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
His comments hinted that althoughBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warhas reached its last season, there might still be hope for the series. Thus, there is a possibility that the series might get a remake or some other project that would add more substance to theBleachfranchise as a whole.

Bleach’srevival might not be liked byBorutofans
AlthoughBleachis one of the biggest anime and manga series in the world, it has suffered criticism on account of pacing, animation quality, story portrayal, etc. But if the reports about the series getting a revival turn out to be true, it could potentially raise the bar ofBleach, making it perfect on all accounts.
Thus, when the news about producer Tominaga’s comment hit the internet, it created a stir as anime fans from all over the world started to express their excitement about it.
