One of the most iconic sequences fromOppenheimerwas when the Father of the Atomic Bomb witnesses the Trinity Test in New Mexico and quotes the famous lines from the Bhagavad Gita. It is a recreation of one of the monumental moments that shaped J. Robert Oppenheimer’s life. However, it was not only the only time, the quote has been shown on visual media.

The iconic line-“Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds”was heard 5 times before in some famous movies and TV shows. The line is a paraphrase of what Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu told in the 11th chapter and 32nd verse of the Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita. Here we present to you the 5 movies and TV shows that did it beforeCillian Murphy‘s 2023 blockbuster.
