In September 2023, it was announced aFrankensteinadaptation will take place for Netflix, whereJacob Elordi, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, and Christian Convery will be a part of the cast. Guillermo del Torro is writing, directing, and producing the project. However, one thing is unsure if the film will be set in a period pic or set in modern times.
