Caleb had apparently been interested in her since the day she was admitted to the facility. Once together, it didn’t take the two much time to tie the knot. On the first of July 2023, Tammy posted a photo of them on her Instagram, revealing to the world that he had passed away.

According to reports, Tammy and Caleb were facing a bit of a setback in their relationship but regardless, she was truly heartbroken to let him go so soon. Caleb’s memories are still alive in Tammy’s heart, and this is quite evident when you look closely at the signs.

Caleb might not be Earthside anymore but he will always be with Tammy. The woman had a ring made out of her late partner’s ashes and she wears the ring even today.

She posted a photo of herself and her friend Haley Michelle as they sat by the pool and posed in swimsuits. If you look closely at Tammy’s fingers, you will notice that one of the rings she has accessorized her outfit with contains the ashes of Caleb.
Furthermore, look at the pendant Tammy has donned in the picture. The treble clef pendant also contains his ashes. It looks like she is keeping Caleb close to her heart even after all these days.

Last checked, Tammy is in a relationship with a woman, Andrea. She broke the news on TikTok, stating, “I have a girlfriend. Haley is just my friend, my girlfriend’s name is Andrea, that’s all I’m going to say about my girlfriend” (viaMirror).
While Tammy keeps her relationship with Andrea under covers, the jewelry makes it clear that Caleb still lives in a part of her heart.
The Meaning Behind Her Sunflower Scarf
If you log onto Instagram and scroll through Tammy’s photos, you will notice a similarity in many of them – a black scarf with yellow sunflowers. Most of the time the scarf will remain around her neck and sometimes she switches things up by wearing it on her head. Either way, it’s pretty cute!
While it may just seem like your everyday accessory, the scarf holds a sentimental value for her. Caleb had a very sweet nickname for the love of his life. Yeah, you guessed it – Sunflower.
He even wrote a poem titled after the flower’s name for her which was shown in the first episode of season 5. As he recited his poem to her, he said,“Sunflower, sunflower, God planted you as a seed in a field full of many, but you, he meant for me.”

In the memorial service held for Caleb, the heart-wrenching poem made a comeback. Amy and Tammy’s brother, Chris, recited it in front of the family and then played his music. Needless to say, Caleb meant a lot to the Slaton family.
