Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerois looking to resurrect theBudokai Tenkaichiseries and is coming out swinging. Everything we have seen about the game so far has been impressive, and fans are looking forward to reliving the best moments from acrossDragon Ball.
The roster is also looking very robust, with characters from across theDragon Balluniverse playable. However, a recent bit of information has a Redditor concerned regarding some forms of a main character that may or may not make it into the final game.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero May Not Feature Every Single Goku Form
NoDragon Ballgame is complete without Goku; in fact, it wouldn’t be aDragon Ballgame without Goku. The issue does come up, though, that over the course of the series’ long history, Goku has changed a lot, and I don’t mean his personality. Every new power-up he gains is considered a new form, and Redditor schnitzelchowder has done a roundup of all his forms till now.

The Redditor also expressed concern after the roundup regarding some information found on a scanned page from the shonen magazine V Jump. The translation of the page states there are going to be 11 forms of Goku inSparking Zero, which means some may end up on the chopping block even though the game is supposed to haveone of the largest rosters.
The Redditor speculates it might be Mastered Ultra Instinct, GT, Kid Goku, and Super Saiyan 4. Considering MUI Goku is one of his most recent forms, it’s doubtful it would be left out of the game, and Super Saiyan 4 is far too iconic to be dropped. This would leave Kid Goku and Goku fromDragon Ball GT.

Kid Goku is also iconic, but it may be a bit dated now to include in the game.Dragon Ball GTis, itself, a highly contested inclusion in theDBuniverse, so skipping on Goku from that saga would also make sense. Many commenters have also stated that the 11 forms are only the ones that have been revealed so far. Given Vegeta has 13 forms, we might see the reveal of more soon.
The Game Will Leave No Stone Unturned
The title is set to launch in late 2024 or early 2025, so there’s still time for more characters and forms to be added. Considering they areadding even fringe characterswho had minimal screen time in the anime, we doubt they would skip on some of the main ones in the series.

The game is going to be a nostalgic experience for many fans. Along with improved graphics, we can expect to see even bigger fighting arenas and destructible set pieces as the power of consoles has increased.
