Snake says at some point that his best friend is Frank Jaeger, but many of you would not agree with this statement, as it was Otacon who helped humanize Snake.
The duo has also offered great and emotional scenes throughout the franchise. You absolutely can not forget their epic handshake on MGS2 or the way Snake comforted Otacon when his step-sister passed away.
